Pleasure to meet you.

Born in Switzerland to immigrants from Italy and Uruguay, and now living and working in South Korea, I am a true citizen of the world. With family and homes spread over three continents, my journey has been one of seeking a sense of belonging. This quest for connection – across cultures, geographies, and states of being – deeply influences my art and fuels its purpose.

Trying to counter a crippling Weltschmerz, I found solace, hope, and joy in the idle moments: Focusing on delicious details such as the reflection of sunlight in a glass of water, the texture of a well-trodden path, or the patterns on tree bark. I also take a step back to marvel at the grandeur of a colorful sunset, the myriad constellations in the night sky, and the shared humanity that unites us all. These moments of noticing – both small and vast – ground my creative practice.

I paint to express my reverence for the magic hidden in the mundane – a humble offering of gratitude for the great gift of being alive.
